CD Broadway Bares - Openings

One of the things audiences look forward to each year at Broadway Bares is the original opening number. Since 1996, renowned theatre composers and lyricists including Andrew Lippa, Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman have created catchy, original songs for each year’s theme, while a Broadway star lends their vocal chops to start things off with a bang. There have been many requests over the years to have a recording made of these songs and, at long last, here it is! Broadway Bares Openings features 13 original songs from various Broadway Bares shows, including the title song from 2010'S Strip-opoly, sung by Tony®-nominee Euan Morton. Some of the stars reprising their songs include Jane Krakowski, Lillias White, Christopher Sieber, Debbie Gravitte, Shoshana Bean, Julia Murney and Leslie Kritzer.
