Texas 1955: The rebellious Jesse Tucker offends against all rules of its boarding school and comes in conflict with the police and, more badly still, into continuous stress with director Benedict. As Sarah, who spends , their college holidays in the province (daughter of the boarding school leader), Jesse falls in love with the brittle beautiful one. At the same time also music teacher Jack Cabe (John Travolta), who try to show his students what Rock'n Roll is, start its service. Secretly he studies with its pupils a few pieces, until it is prevented by director Benedict from it. But Cabe has still another secret, he is searched of murder by the police .
